This is due to the brain developing at a much slower rate than in a normal child. Since this affects the reception of various stimuli by making the child slow in perceiving situation that are of interest, aggression is possibly a means of protecting themselves from the jeers of other kids. Other causes include: the media the child is exposed to, and environmental factors such as poor parenting, violence at home and social economic factors such as divorce single parenthood.By collaborating with other professionals the child is better placed for assistance towards understanding their situation. For instance a behaviourist is better placed to help the child to understand their condition while pointing out better ways of handling the situations causing the aggression.
